In person · Grades K–3

The years a child learns how to learn.

Our K–3 classrooms in Granada Hills provide a rigorous academic environment, rooted in faith. These learners also benefit from Montessori and mixed-age classes, where older students build leadership skills by helping younger students, and all children are able to receive the individual and small-group support they need.

What children work on

Montessori areas, aligned to California standards so nothing is left to chance.

Practical Life

Pouring, buttoning, sweeping, food preparation: the small competencies that build coordination and self-reliance.

Sensorial

Materials that isolate size, weight, colour, and sound so a child learns to notice and classify precisely.

Language

Phonics with movable letters, handwriting, grammar, reading aloud, and writing that starts long before it looks neat.

Mathematics

Number rods, beads, and the decimal system in the hand first. Abstraction arrives once the quantity is real.

Cultural Studies

Geography, botany, zoology, and history: the world introduced as one connected thing.

Qur'an & Akhlaq

Recitation and memorization at each child's own pace, alongside the daily practice of good character.
